 Michter's US*1 Toasted Barrel Finish Bourbon is a distinguished expression that highlights the brand's innovative approach to whiskey making. Initially introduced in 2014, this bourbon undergoes a unique aging process where it is first aged in fire-charred, new American white oak barrels and then finished in a second custom-made barrel made from 18-month air-dried wood that is toasted but not charred. This process imparts a distinctive flavor profile that sets it apart from other bourbons.

Michter's Distillery, with a history dating back over 250 years, is renowned for its meticulous production methods and commitment to quality. The distillery was originally founded in Pennsylvania but was later relocated to Louisville, Kentucky.
