It honors George Garvin Brown, the founder of Old Forester, with a special release each September 2, marking his birthday. This year’s version is a 12-year-old bourbon, bottled at 107 proof, and it is crafted from 209 barrels aged in Warehouses G and L. The barrels were hand-selected by Master Distiller Emeritus Chris Morris, Master Taster Melissa Rift, and Assistant Master Distiller Caleb Trigo.
