Hard Truth Distilling Co. has partnered with Mellencamp Whiskey Co. — founded by Hud Mellencamp and Levi Collison — to release a limited series of collectible sweet mash whiskeys in support and celebration of America’s heartland farmers.
Harvest Rye is the first release in a series of four whiskeys, with each bottle featuring unique artwork by John Mellencamp and a previously-unreleased mash bill of Sweet Mash Whiskey.
Created to celebrate Indiana’s small, independent, and heritage farmers, Harvest Rye whiskey uses 100% Indiana grains, and a portion of sales from each bottle will go to support Indiana’s sustainable farming initiatives and local farming families via Grounded in Truth, Hard Truth’s cause platform.
Grounded in Truth supports agriculturally focused not-for-profit organizations — like Farm Aid, its first giving partner — that provide valuable resources and support for family farmers.
General Questions
You will be charged New York state sales tax as the title of goods passes to you in New York. Customers are responsible for any additional taxes imposed by their state.

By looking beyond the scores, we uncover many wonderful and distinctive discoveries, bringing you exceptional whiskies that might otherwise be missed.
Yes, you can arrange specific delivery instructions directly with the carrier. If you need an address corrected, then please reach out to us as soon as possible. We are unable to make any changes once the package has been shipped. Our responsibility ends once the package is handed over to the carrier.

If you are unable to sign for your delivery, FedEx will attempt to redeliver the package a few times. If the delivery is still unsuccessful, the package will be sent back to us. In such cases we will refund the order minus the shipping costs. If you didn't pay shipping, then we will charger a $35 restocking fee.

Long complex notes. I have really enjoyed the 16 and 18 year. The 20 year has an even more robust flavor, while still being remarkably smooth neat. Fruit, toffee, and chocolate up front with subtle peat. Will buy again.
