Hillrock Solera Aged Bourbon is crafted using a unique Solera aging process, a technique traditionally used for aging fortified wines like Sherry and Port. This method involves continuously blending younger whiskey with older whiskey, which enhances the depth and complexity of the spirit. Hillrock Distillery, located in New York, marries their estate-grown bourbon with mature seed bourbon before finishing it in 20-year-old Oloroso Sherry casks.
This meticulous process results in a bourbon that is rich in flavor and complexity. The use of Oloroso Sherry casks adds layers of dried fruit, roasted nuts, and candied fruit notes, complementing the bourbon’s natural caramel and spice characteristics.

Yes, you can arrange specific delivery instructions directly with the carrier. If you need an address corrected, then please reach out to us as soon as possible. We are unable to make any changes once the package has been shipped. Our responsibility ends once the package is handed over to the carrier.

If you are unable to sign for your delivery, FedEx will attempt to redeliver the package a few times. If the delivery is still unsuccessful, the package will be sent back to us. In such cases we will refund the order minus the shipping costs. If you didn't pay shipping, then we will charger a $35 restocking fee.
