Michter’s 20-Year-Old Kentucky Straight Bourbon is a rare, meticulously crafted whiskey, aged for two decades in fire-charred American oak barrels. With an impressive ABV of 57.1%, this limited release is celebrated for its deep complexity and luxurious finish. Michter’s 20-Year-Old is not released annually; instead, each edition is chosen from a select few barrels that meet the distillery’s high standards. These barrels, hand-selected by Michter’s Master Distiller Dan McKee and Master of Maturation Andrea Wilson, bring a richness that few bourbons achieve, as it takes a carefully monitored aging process to avoid the overpowering oak flavors common in longer-aged bourbons.
