Woodinville Straight Bourbon Whiskey is a testament to the craftsmanship and dedication of the Woodinville Whiskey Company. Founded in 2010 by Orlin Sorensen and Brett Carlile, this distillery has quickly garnered a reputation for producing high-quality bourbon. The bourbon is distilled from a mash bill of 72% corn, 22% rye, and 6% malted barley, all sourced from the Omlin Family farm in Quincy, Washington. The whiskey is aged in new, charred American oak barrels, with the wood seasoned for 18 months in the open air, and then trucked over the Cascade Mountains to the barrel houses, where the extreme temperature cycles of Central Washington enhance the extraction of natural flavors from the oak. This meticulous process results in a spirit that is both rich and vibrant, with a sweet, lingering finish that leaves a lasting impression.
