Description
Larceny Barrel Proof will be an ongoing offering released three times per year: January, May and September. Each release will have varying proofs and consist of barrels aged six to eight years. A naming convention for the release is shown on each bottle. The alpha character in the naming convention designates which batch of the year that bottle came from, the numeral that follows represents the month of the release, and finally the last two digits indicate the corresponding year of the release. For example, the first release will be A120, with A representing the first batch of that year, 1 representing January, and 20 representing the year 2020. Johnn E. Fitzgerald was a treasury agent, who at the time, was the only person legally allowed to carry keys to the rickhouses. He often gave in to temptation and freely took from the best bourbon barrels - uncut at barrel proof. Today, you can taste this liquid in much the same way as John E. Fitzgerald. Larceny Barrel Proof Small Batch Bourbon is made from a mingling of 6 to 8 year old Bourbon that is bottled uncut and without chill filtration. This Bourbon honors both the superb taste of this lawless treasury agent and the wheated Bourbon legacy of the Old Fitzgerald brand.

Yes, you can arrange specific delivery instructions directly with the carrier. If you need an address corrected, then please reach out to us as soon as possible. We are unable to make any changes once the package has been shipped. Our responsibility ends once the package is handed over to the carrier.

If you are unable to sign for your delivery, FedEx will attempt to redeliver the package a few times. If the delivery is still unsuccessful, the package will be sent back to us. In such cases we will refund the order minus the shipping costs. If you didn't pay shipping, then we will charger a $35 restocking fee.

Long complex notes. I have really enjoyed the 16 and 18 year. The 20 year has an even more robust flavor, while still being remarkably smooth neat. Fruit, toffee, and chocolate up front with subtle peat. Will buy again.
